Empire Cinema Sutton Coldfield
Built just before the Second World War, the Art Deco cinema is a Grade II listed building. It has a capacity of 1,156 split over four screens.
The first movie to be shown at the cinema in 1936 was the British comedy musical ‘First a Girl‘. This was all about a delivery girl who dreams of being a music-hall singer.
October Films at Empire Cinema
Bohemian Rhapsody is scheduled for release on 24 October. The film is a chronicle of the years leading up to Queen’s legendary appearance at the Live Aid (1985) concert.
