Disney On Ice presents Dream Big Review

Disney On Ice presents Dream BigDisney On Ice presents Dream Big is in Birmingham until 28 October. It’s a ‘whole new world’ when it comes to the best figure-skaters, costumes, set designs, stunts and catchy songs. There was even bubbles, fire and snow in what was a flawless production from start to finish, thanks to the fabulous team at Feld Entertainment. The best one yet!

Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie kicked off the show at Arena Birmingham with some audience participation. It didn’t matter how old you were, they had everyone clapping and dancing along.

Enchanted Tales

Tinker Bell then took the audience on an enchanting journey of some of the best Disney tales. With a sprinkle of magic pixie dust, there were stories of Ariel, Belle, Moana, Rapunzel, Cinderella and everyone’s favourite – Anna, Elsa and Olaf from ‘Frozen’.

Aladdin burst into action in a brilliant market scene with lots of twists, turns, high jumps and stunts. The

lovable genie made us smile, although Aladdin and Jasmines dance to ‘A Whole New World’ was a little more emotional.

Moana was added to this year’s production, alongside Maui. They certainly had Birmingham laughing, so I know they’ll be back soon.

The numerous tales of princesses and heroes captured the audiences hearts. However, our personal favourite was ‘Be Our Guest’ from Beauty and the Beast. Simply magical.
